Yo! Noid II: Enter the Void

Author's description

No description could be found anywhere... perhaps no words can describe this game??

Released 2017 by Yo! Noid II team

Platforms: Windows, Mac

The Badger opinion

Literally no one knows who the Noid is, but he's BACK BABYY

A weird and very difficult platformer with surprisingly snappy controls and a dab button. I haven't finished it ever but I recommend at least trying

#21: The World

Author's description

#21: The World is a surrealistic exploration game based on my dream journal I have kept for years. The game is heavily inspired by Osamu Sato's LSD Dream Emulator. I hope to disturb, calm, and shock players with #21: The World's many settings.

Released 2015 by lsddev

Platforms: Windows, Mac, Linux

The Badger opinion

The amount of individual little "worlds" in this game is impressive, you can explore for hours and still find new things. Everything in here is either facinating, amusing or terrifying.

The Badger opinion

I'm not sure what any of the three Sluggish Morss games are about, besides space and the inevitable heat death of the universe. All I know is they're magical experiences and this one is the most graphically stunning of them. Lots of things made with clay.

Crypt Worlds

Author's description

In our world, you can die at any time, for no reason whatsoever. This single fact has acted the primary inspiration for Nindendy's new Triple-A HitGame "Elizabeth Crypt Girl: The Game That Plays You".

A reflecting pool of the futility we all experience, "Crypt Game Desire" is the only game that painstakingly replicates the banal conditions which define all our lives. You will collect gold, only to forget what point there is in collecting gold. You will grind against the walls of the crypts, yearning for any sensation in this lonely hellworld. You will laugh- and then realize there is nothing to laugh about- and then cry. Then you will cry even more. After several hours of this your tears will flood the room and you will suffocate as a result of your own realizations into the true nature of waking life.

Enter Crypt World- the knife which will cut through the thin veil which obscures the infinite nothingness contained within our lives. Nothing will survive beyond this point.

Released 2013 by Cicada Marionette

Platforms: Windows, Mac, Linux

The Badger opinion

A big confusing beautifully ugly mess of a world presented with plenty of absurdist humor. It's very rough around the edges and I wouldn't want it any other way. Be sure to read the guide (Click "Read the guide online!" on the game page).

Also you can piss.

Barkley, Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden

Author's description

The Great B-Ball Purge of 2041, a day so painful to some that it is referred to only as the “B-Ballnacht”. Thousands upon thousands of the world’s greatest ballers were massacred in a swath of violence and sports bigotry as the game was outlawed worldwide. The reason: the Chaos Dunk, a jam so powerful its mere existence threatens the balance of chaos and order. Among the few ballers and fans that survived the basketball genocide was Charles Barkley, the man capable of performing the “Verboten Jam" [...]

Released 2013 by Tales of Game's

Platforms: Windows, Mac

The Badger opinion

Pretty much just Final Fantasy but with basketball.

Space Funeral

Author's description

On their travels they must overcome ghosts, criminals, hyponosis, lions, Draculas, cryptic letters, muscle hedonists, swamp knights, mysterious caves, blood ghouls, grotesque monsters, purple drank and more in order to discover the secret of Space Funeral.

Short, unsettling RPG-ish thing with a killer soundtrack and blood
